Personnel Experience •Stan Hooper -Senior Engineer Contractor -Aero Design Services -Coconut Creek, FL Stan Hooper was employed by Eastern Airlines Engineering Department from June 1940 until he retired in February 1986. He was further retained as a Design Consultant at Eastern, accumulating 50 years of Interiors Engineering expertise. Beginning in June 1964, Stan was promoted to Manager of Aircraft Interiors Engineering. His responsibility was the management of all Interiors Engineering functions pertaining to all passenger and crew accommodations, equipment, furnishings, materials and processes used on the aircraft fleet. Stan participated in or supervised interior engineering for aircraft ranging from the DC-2 to the B757, including Concorde interior specifications. Stan also conducted contract negotiations, specification development, and inspection of new or used aircraft on behalf of Eastern Airlines. At Aero Design Services, Stan has developed interior configurations, equipment and aircraft modification documents, and emergency equipment specifications.
