DRAWING REQUIREMENTS

For the most simple interior modifications, an interior seat layout drawing and emergency equipment layout drawing should be prepared.


The seat layout should identify:

• Seat P/N’s and descriptions
• Galley, closets, and partition P/N’s and locating dimensions
• Seat pitch (spacing) and location dimensions
• Passageway and offset dimensions at type III exits if petition for deviation is required


The emergency equipment layout should identify:

• Locations and descriptions of equipment
• Quantity of each
• Capacity of rafts if installed
• Optional – part numbers and attachment details


This assumes all monuments and appliances have a previous approval basis. If any of them are new designs, detail design drawings will be required and the certification process must be followed.


Other drawings that may be helpful are:

• Layout of electrical equipment /outlets and their wiring
• PSU, spacer panel layout
• Carpet & decorative material layout
• Placard installation diagram
